An iconic sample flip inspires the story. I derived my ideas and themes from original tracks Dead Presidents by Jay-Z and A Garden of Peace by Lonnie Liston Smith. I feel like I have a newfound opinion and perspective on the current landscape of American politics, materialism, and the entertainment industry, so I think my lyrics moving forward are going to be much more truthful, representative of who I am in real life, and rooted in my weekly thought process compared to my previous works. So begins a new chapter - a green chapter!
