This was such a turning point for me. My freshman year of college brought new friends, new opportunities, a different sound to music, and new perspectives. Jack and I dove into party life all around Utica, wherever we could find one on the weekends. We were burning and handing out copies of my CDs, freestyling at parties, and selling merch out of the trunk of my Hyundai Elantra, all while working full-time jobs and going to school full-time.

I just wanted to prove to everyone that you can do whatever and get good at something if you try hard enough to develop a skill for it, and it doesn’t matter what image or branding the industry says you need to have to be successful. It kinda worked.
