As a kidd, the world was limitless. All corners were worth exploring. Each sport became a new favorite, every video game more immersive than the last, and each new verse written slightly wittier than its previous attempt.

But somewhere along the way, we’re told to leave that behind—to grow up and be realistic. And to some extent, it’s true. We sacrifice our youth to survive in the adult world, the one with bills to pay, relationships to work on, careers to choose, decisions to make.

You know— responserbileries.

Humans will willingly choose to walk away from that blissful enthusiasm. Is it really necessary to close that door in order to open new ones?

I like to keep it unlocked and slightly ajar.
